Paul Volpe Wins Eight Game Mix at WSOP 2016 Poker Tournament

WSOP veteran with 27 WSOP cashes and earnings of $1,484,475 under his belt has won the Eight Game Mixed event. The event is a combination of limit, pot limt, no limit and stud games. Usually experienced players who committed themselves to the art of poker play in these tournaments. There tend to be older more versatile players here. Many of them will compete in additional tournaments as well. There were 491 entries with prize pool of $662,850. Paul Volpe prevailed.
The Philly native pockets not only $149,943 but also gets a gold bracelet, his second. In addition to being professional poker player, he is also a sports gambler. The tournament was played over three days. The final hand was won playing a Pot Limit Omaha round against Jason Stockfish, who finished in second place.
