Phil Ivey Cashes Big Time in Sochi Partypoker Series

Phil Ivey has been on a streak that started in 2019 and he’s going strong in 2020. At the Sochi 2020 Partypoker Millions series he was the champion player cashing in several events.
He won the $50,000 short deck event pocketing $856,000. This was his first take down since 2018. At the second $51,000, Ivey cashed for $525,000. Additional cashes were in the $100,000 No Limit Short Deck Holdem where he finished 5th for $240,000. And he placed 7th in the $25,000 No Limit Holdem event for $72,000. Nice way to start the year, don’t you think?
The comeback of Phil Ivey is amazing. I don’t know if he’s settled everything with the card sorting situation but he’s doing well. Maybe he should stick to poker and forget the other games!! 2019 was another good year for him with over $2 million in earnings. He ranks 8th in the All Time Money list for poker players with over $30,000,000. And everyone loves Phil Ivey.
Sochi Russia was where the Olympics were several years ago. It’s amazing they took the town and added casinos making it a getaway for Russians with something for everyone in the family. Visitors can enjoy world class winter sports and casino fun at the same time. Pokerstars also sponsors a “Multi Million Dollar” Poker Series at Sochi as well.
